SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
406 1/2 B of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County",
sub-title "Police Department", as said section was enacted
by Chapter 874 of the Acts of 1945, relating to the com-
pensation of clerks in the Police Department of said
county.
