Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title
"Criminal Court of Baltimore", said sections relating to
the jurisdiction of the Criminal Court of Baltimore City.
WHEREAS, the Constitution and general laws of the State
prescribe the cases over which all courts have jurisdiction,
thereby rendering these sections unnecessary; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 426 and 427 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter
(1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Criminal
Court of Baltimore", be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section
(A) of Section 1102 of the Montgomery County Code (1939
Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, (being Section 1295 of the Prince George's
County Code (1943 Edition), being Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Takoma Park", to increase the number
of the members of the City Council and to provide for the
manner of their election.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-section (A) of Section 1102 of the Montgom-
ery County Code (1939 Edition), being Article 16 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, (being Section 1295 of the
Prince George's County Code (1943 Edition), being Article 17
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Mont-
gomery County", sub-title "Takoma Park", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
1102. (A) Every resident of said City whose name shall
be certified to the Mayor and Council under the provisions
of the next succeeding section of this Charter, shall be en-
titled to vote in municipal elections in the said City and no
