thence in a southerly direction in a line parallel with Ed-
monston Road, maintaining at all points a distance of 420
feet from said road to the point of beginning.

(Third Ward.) Except as modified by the adoption of this
charter the Third Ward shall embrace all of Sunnybrook,
Villa Heights, Woodley Hills, and other lands within the
following boundaries: Beginning at a point in the Washing-
ton-Baltimore Parkway where the prolongation of the north
line of Decatur Heights, Addition A, intersects said High-
way, thence along said highway in a southerly direction to
the center line of Landover Road, thence in a westerly direc-
tion along said center line of Landover Road to the south-
east corner of Decatur Heights, Addition A, thence in a
northerly direction along the eastern boundary line of De-
catur Heights, Addition A, to the northern boundary line
thereof, thence in an easterly direction along a prolongation
of the northern boundary line of Decatur Heights, Addition
A, to the point of beginning.

For the purposes of adoption of this charter in accordance
with Section 2 hereinafter set out, the Third Ward shall be
divided into two sections, the dividing line being the center
line of Annapolis Road (Defense Highway) starting from the
point where it intersects the Washington-Boulevard Parkway
and running westerly to its intersection with the Landover
Road. For the purpose of adoption of this charter, all of
the area in this ward north of the center line of said Annap-
olis Road shall be known as the Third Ward, Sunnybrook
Section, and all of the area in this ward south of the center
line of Annapolis Road shall be known as the Third Ward,
Villa Heights Section.

(Fourth Ward.) The Fourth Ward shall embrace all of
Newton Village and other lands within the following bound-
aries : Beginning at the southeast corner of Decatur Heights,
Addition A, thence in an easterly direction along the center
line of Landover Road to Washington-Baltimore Parkway,
thence along said Washington-Baltimore Parkway in a south-
erly direction to the northeasterly right of way line of the
Alexandria Branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad,
thence northwesterly along said right of way line about 450
feet to the center line of River Road (also known as Kenil-
worth Avenue), thence northerly about 650 feet along the
center line of said road to its intersection with the prolonga-
tion of the center line of the proposed relocated River Road
as shown on a right of way location plan prepared by the
County Engineer of Prince George's County, thence gener-
ally northwesterly and northerly about 3,200 feet along the
