WM. PRESTON LANE, JR., GOVERNOR. 567

Turnpike, now known as U. S. Highway No. 1 and as Wash-
ington-Baltimore Boulevard, thence North 11 degrees East
151 1/2 perches to a stake on Shed's lot aforesaid, thence
North 70 degrees East 44 perches, thence South 63 degrees
East to the Edmonston Road and thence with the said Road
to the northwest corner of Section Two of a sub-division of
land known as Decatur Heights (also known as Addition 4
of Decatur Heights), thence with the north line of said sub-
division to the northeast corner thereof, thence with the
eastern line of the same to Defense Highway, thence with said
Defense Highway to the northeast corner of Section One of
Decatur Heights, thence with the eastern line of Section
One to the center line of Old Bladensburg and Landover
County Road (now known as Quincy Street) thence in a
westerly direction along said road to its intersection with
River Road (Kenilworth Avenue) at a point known as
Payne's Pump, thence in a southerly direction to a point
on the south line of Duckett's Meadow marked by ''some
large trees", then westward along said south line and the
prolongation thereof to the easterly bank of the Anacostia
River, thence in a northerly direction along said Anacostia
River to a point on the eastern bank of said river where it
intersects the center line of the Washington-Baltimore Turn-
pike (Washington-Baltimore Boulevard), thence in a straight
line to the point of beginning.

(Second Ward.) The Second Ward shall embrace all of
Roger's Heights and other lands within the following bound-
aries : Beginning at a point 420 feet west of Edmonston
Road (said point of beginning also marking the southern
end of the easterly boundary line of the Town of Edmon-
ston (as described in the Edmonston charter) where it
intersects the north boundary line of the Town of Bladens-
burg as described in the charter for Bladensburg last enacted
heretofore), thence along said north boundary line of Bla-
densburg to the east line of Edmonston Road, thence in a
northerly direction along said east line of Edmonston Road
(said line being also the westerly line of Addition A of De-
catur Heights) to the northwest corner of said Addition A
of Decatur Heights, thence in an easterly direction along
the said north line of said Section A of Decatur Heights
and the prolongation of said line to the Washington-Balti-
more Parkway, thence in a northeasterly direction along said
Washington-Baltimore Parkway to the center line of Carter's
Lane, thence in a westerly direction along Carter's Lane and
the prolongation thereof to a point 420 feet westerly of said
Edmonston Road where said prolongated line intersects
with the easterly boundary line of the Town of Edmonston,
