Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-title
"Bladensburg", and to enact in lieu thereof 56 new sections
numbered 34 to 57C, inclusive, of said Article, title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "Bladensburg", repealing the
charter of the Town of Bladensburg and enacting a new
corporate charter in lieu thereof, and enlarging the bound-
aries of the present Town of Bladensburg, and providing a
referendum thereon.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 34-57, inclusive, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition), being
part of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Bladensburg",
be and the same are hereby repealed and lieu thereof are en-
acted 56 new sections, to be known as Sections 34 to 57C,
inclusive, of said Article and to read as follows:

34. The citizens of the communities generally heretofore
known as Bladensburg, Edmonston Road east of the incor-
porated town of Edmonston, Newton Village, Roger's Heights,
River Road (now known as Kenilworth Avenue), to the new
Washington-Baltimore Parkway, Landover Road to the new
Washington-Baltimore Parkway, Sunnybrook, Villa Heights,
Woodley Hills, Whitleys, Annapolis Road to the New Wash-
ington-Baltimore Parkway, Carter's Lane and all other areas
within the boundaries described in Section 35 of the charter
hereinafter set out, in Prince George's County, State of Mary-
land, or such of said areas as elect in accordance with the
provision of Section 2 of this Act are hereby incorporated
into a body politic to be known by the name of "Bladens-
burg", and shall have perpetual succession, sue and be sued,
have and use a common seal, and may purchase and hold or
dispose of real and personal property for the benefit of said
town.

BOUNDARIES

35. The boundaries of said Town of Bladensburg shall be
as follows, except as modified by adoption of this charter
by the voters of the wards described herein: Beginning at a
stake planted on the south side of the County Road leading
to Washington known as Bunker Hill Road, being 3 1/2 perches
from the junction of said road and the Washington and Balti-
more Turnpike, now known as U. S. No. 1 Highway or Wash-
ington-Baltimore Boulevard, thence North 11 degrees East
151 1/2 perches to a stake on land described in the last enacted
charter for Bladensburg as Shed's lot, thence North 70 degrees
