CHAPTER 340.
(House Bill 243)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 298 and 299 of Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Health and Sanitation",
and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 300
of said Article, to eliminate provisions for and references
to District Health Officers in the laws of Baltimore County,
and to provide penalties for obstructing or resisting officers,
agents or employees of the Board of Health of Baltimore
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 298 and 299 of Article 3 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Baltimore County", sub-title "Health and Sanitation", be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 300 of
Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Health
and Sanitation" be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
300. If any person shall knowingly obstruct or resist
any officer, agent or employee of the Board of Health of
Baltimore County, in the execution or performance of his
duties in relation to the public health, such person shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof
shall be fined not less than $20.00 or more than $100.00, or
be imprisoned in the discretion of the Court for not more than
thirty days.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.
