Real estate or any estate therein, heretofore or hereafter
acquired and held for future use, and not for investment, by
any hospital or asylum not organized or conducted for profit,
provided that the exemption of property held for future use
granted by this sub-section shall be for the period January 1,
1947 to December 31, 1950.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 336.
(House Bill 177)

AN ACT to repeal Section 50 of Article 48A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Insurance", sub-
title "General Provisions", relating to investments of foreign
insurance companies situate in the State of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 50 of Article 48A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Insurance", sub-title
"General Provisions", be, and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 183)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 178, 179, 180, 181, 185, 186, 187,
188, 193, 201, 202, 209, 210, 216, and 217 of Article 6 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Caroline County", sub-title "Federalsburg", and to
enact in lieu thereof 17 new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 178, 179, 180, 181, 185, 186, 187, 188, 193, 201, 202,
209, 210, 212A, 214A, 216 and 217 of said Article and
sub-title, amending generally the corporate charter of the
town of Federalsburg.
