SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 200.
(House Bill 60)

AN ACT to repeal Section 188 of Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Public Education",
sub-title "Chapter 17. High Schools", as said section was
amended by Chapter 558 of the Acts of 1945, said section
relating to State aid to High Schools under certain con-
ditions.

WHEREAS, State aid is no longer based specifically on the
cost of instruction in High Schools situated in the Counties
and Baltimore City, thereby rendering this section unneces-
sary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 188 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Public Education", sub-title
"Chapter 17. High Schools", as said section was amended by
Chapter 558 of the Acts of 1945, be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1947.

Approved March 29, 1947.

CHAPTER 201.
(House Bill 65)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
201 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Public Education", sub-title "Chapter
19. Source and Distribution of Income", relating to the
method of distributing State Aid on the basis of school
census and aggregate days of attendance.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 201 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code
