and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

201. The Comptroller shall withhold from any county or
from the City of Baltimore any installment from the General
State School Fund on notification from the State Superin-
tendent of Schools that said County or City of Baltimore is
not complying with the provisions of this Article.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal Section 200 of Article 77 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Public Edu-
cation", sub-title "Chapter 19. Source and Distribution
of Income".

WHEREAS, State aid is no longer based on school census
and aggregate days of attendance, thereby making this section
unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 200 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Public Education", sub-
title "Chapter 19. Source and Distribution of Income", be
