To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, JOHN B. FUNK, SECRETARY OF STATE, OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 194
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended
by Ch. 934 of 1945, DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the Referendum
Election held in the City of Hyattsville for the annexation of
the Fourth Ward to the said City of Hyattsville, an Act known
as Chapter 559 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1945, was submitted to the voters of Hyattsville for
their adoption or rejection, under the provisions of the Con-
stitution of the State, said Act being:

An Act to extend the limits of the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Hyattsville, a municipal corporation, by includ-
ing therein a part of Prince George's County con-
tiguous thereto.

AND i DO CERTIFY, That at said election 276 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 559 of the Acts of 1945
and 89 votes were cast against the adoption thereof, the said
Act is therefore ratified.
