To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, JOHN B. FUNK, SECRETARY OF STATE, OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 194
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended
by Ch. 934 of 1945, DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the Referendum
Election held in the City of Frederick for the adoption or rejec-
tion of an Act known as Chapter 621 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1945, said Act was submitted to
the voters for their adoption or rejection under the provisions
of the Constitution of the State, said Act being:

An Act relating to municipal elections in Frederick City.

AND i DO CERTIFY, That at the said election 1535 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 621 and 862 votes
were cast against the adoption thereof, the said Act is there-
fore ratified.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
