running thence in a northerly direction a distance of approxi-
mately 1,000 feet, being an existing right-of-way 20 feet in
width.

Existing unimproved road 1/2 mile north of Pasadena. Be-
ginning for the same at the intersection of the Governor
Ritchie Highway on the east side, running thence in a north-
easterly direction for a distance of 850 feet; thence in a
northwesterly direction for a distance of 1,050 feet to the
point of ending at the Governor Ritchie Highway.

Cypress Creek. Beginning for the same on the Cypress
Creek Road approximately 500 feet from the Community
wharf, running thence in a northerly direction for approxi-
mately 300 feet, thence in a westerly direction approximately
300 feet, thence in a southerly direction approximately 300
feet, terminating at the Cypress Creek Road.

Orchard Beach. Three twenty-foot alleys between Park Place
and Beach Promenade, a distance of approximately 1,000
feet; an alley twenty feet in width between Cliff Place and
Promenade Beach, a distance of approximately 225 feet.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 923.
(House Bill 881)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 87
of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title "County
Treasurer", relating to the duties of the County Treasurer
of said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 87 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County",
sub-title "County Treasurer", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

87. (a) The Governor of the State of Maryland, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint a
competent person, resident of Calvert County, Treasurer for
said county, who shall give bond and qualify as hereinafter
directed, and who shall be ineligible for election until one
