(4) Any person, partnership, firm or corporation keeping,

maintaining, possessing or operating any of the aforesaid
machines without a license, as hereinbefore provided, or vio-
lating any of the other provisions of this section, shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, be fined not
less than twenty-five ($25.00) dollars, nor more than one hun-
dred ($100.00) dollars for each offense.

(5) The provisions of this sub-title shall apply to Kent,
Queen Anne's and Caroline Counties only.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 922.
(House Bill 847)

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County to take over and maintain certain roads
in Anne Arundel County.

WHEREAS, the State laws provide that" all county roads
must be at least 30 feet wide; and

WHEREAS, there are certain roads in Anne Arundel County,
Maryland, which do not meet these requirements but are
nevertheless used as public highways; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County be and they are hereby authorized to take over and
maintain as public roads the following roads in Anne Arun-
del County:

DISTRICT 1.

Beginning for the same at the intersection of Beverly
Beach, the folloAving streets 20 and 25 feet in width in Clo-
verlea: Chesapeake Drive, Lee Drive, Cherrystone Drive,
Cliff Drive, all as shown on a recorded plat among the Land
Records of Anne Arundel County.

DISTRICT 3.

Spot Club Road. Beginning for the same at the intersec-
tion of the Dividing Creek Road one half mile east of Jones,
