and Blind", be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 842.
(House Bill 753)
AN ACT to repeal Sub-sections (E) to (M), inclusive, of
Section 1105 of the Montgomery County Code (1939 Edi-
tion), being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Takoma
Park", as said section was enacted by Chapter 754 of the
Acts of 1945, and to repeal Sub-sections (E) to (M), in-
clusive, of Section 1298 of the Prince George's County Code
(1943 Edition), being Article 17 of the Code of "Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County",
sub-title "Takoma Park", sub-heading "Mayor and Council",
as said section was enacted by Chapter 754 of the Acts
of 1945, and to enact in lieu thereof eight new sub-sections,
said new sub-sections to he known as Sub-sections (E) to
(L), inclusive, of Section 1105 of the Montgomery County
Code and to follow immediately after Sub-section (D)
of Section 1105 of said Code, and to be known as Sub-
sections (E) to (L), inclusive, of Section 1298 of the
Prince George's County Code and to follow immediately
after Sub-section (D) of Section 1298 of said Code, provid-
ing for a chief police officer and for the appointment by
the Mayor and Council of other officers, denning their
duties, authority and compensation, providing for the an-
nual employment of a certified public accountant, and pro-
viding for the establishment of a retirement system for
city employees.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-sections (E) to (M), inclusive, of Section
1105 of the Montgomery County Code (1939 Edition), being
Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Takoma Park", as said
section was enacted by Chapter 754 of the Acts of 1945, and
Sub-sections (E) to (M), inclusive, of Section 1298 of the
Prince George's County Code (1943 Edition), being Article
