(13) Thence over the lands of Eugene Cann Heirs North
62° 17' East 3067.60 feet to the point of beginning, containing
978.00 acres of land, more or less.
All land and farm property included within the above
limits and now operated solely as a farm shall be exempt
from town taxation so long as it is used and operated as a
farm.
All commercial and residential properties both real and
personal within said area shall be exempt from town taxation
until such time as the Town Commissioners shall extend
the facilities now enjoyed by the residents within the town
limits as they existed prior to the passage of this Act but
when all of said facilities shall be extended to any of said
properties, it shall be subject to assessment and taxation at
the regular town rates. As any one of the town facilities
shall be extended to any of the property in the newly an-
nexed territory, such property shall be taxed according to the
town thax rates in effect at that time for the rest of the
town for that particular service or facility, including the
regular charges or rents for such facility or facilities.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 747)
AN ACT to amend the Charter of Pocomoke City by adding
seven new sections to Article 24 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County",
sub-title "Pocomoke City", said new sections to follow
immediately after Section 191 and to be designated Sec-
tions 191A, 191B, 191C, 191D, 191E, 191F and 191G of said
Article, extending the corporate limits of the Town of Porno-
moke City, providing monuments to mark the new boundary
lines of said town and creating a taxing district and speci-
fying the taxes to be levied and collected in the territory
annexed to said town by this Act.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Charter of Pocomoke City be amended by
adding seven new sections to Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester
