2004 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 824

77. There shall be annually three terms of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore County, held at Towson, in said County,
commencing respectively on the second Monday in January,
the second Monday in April and the second Monday in Sep-
tember.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 824.
(House Bill 709)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 66 1/2 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Motor
Vehicles", sub-title "Administration — Registration —
Titling", said new section to be known as Section 6A and to
follow immediately after Section 6 of said Article, providing
for a Medical Advisory Board to advise as to qualifications
of certain applicants for licenses to operate motor vehicles,

WHEREAS, the Department of Motor Vehicles is called upon
to pass upon the qualifications of persons suffering from phy-
sical or mental disabilities, on many of which there should be
impartial and unprejudiced advice by those best qualified to
give it; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
661/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement),
title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Administration—Registra-
tion—Titling", said new section to be known as Section 6A,
to follow immediately after Section 6 of said Article, and to
read as follows:

6A. For the purpose of enabling him properly and fairly
to comply with the provisions of Sub-sections (6), (8), (9)
and (10) of Section 80 of this Article, the Commissioner is
hereby authorized to appoint a Medical Advisory Board con-
sisting of not more than five (5) qualified doctors of Medicine.

The Commissioner may refer to this Board for an advisory
opinion, the cases of all persons applying for any driving
license, when he has good cause to believe that the operation
of a motor vehicle on a highway by such persons would be
