AN ACT to repeal Sections 879, 881, 883, 883A, 884 and 884A
of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland

and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Balti-
more City", sub-title "Police Commissioner", Section 883A
having been enacted by Chapter 588 of 1939 and Section
884A having been enacted by Chapter 232 of 1939, said
sections relating to certain personnel of the Police Depart-
ment of Baltimore City,

WHEREAS, Chapters 513 and 514 of the Acts of 1945 made
provision for all of the several classes of personnel in the
Police Department of Baltimore City, thereby rendering these
sections unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 879, 881, 883, 883A, 884 and 884A of Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore
City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-
title ''Police Commissioner", Section 883A having been enact-
ed by Chapter 588 of 1939 and Section 884A having been
enacted by Chapter 232 of 1939, be and they are hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amenmdents, Section
77 of Article 3 bf the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-title
"Circuit Court", relating to the terms of the Circuit
Court of said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 77 of Article 3 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore
County", sub-title "Circuit Court", be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
