sumption on the premises or elsewhere, provided that no li-
cense shall be issued for any place in Calvert County lying
without the corporate limits of the towns of North Beach
and Chesapeake Beach respectively. The annual fee for such
license shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) in Baltimore
City and in Baltimore County and Four Hundred Dollars
($400.00) in the towns of North Beach and Chesapeake
Beach and Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) in Howard Coun-
ty and shall be payable to the said Clerk, before any license
is issued for distribution as hereinafter provided. No such
license shall be issued for any drug store.

No holder of any such license shall be permitted to make
any sale of any alcoholic beverage on Sunday, nor on any other
day between the hours of midnight and 6 A. M. and between
the hours of 2 A. M. and 6 A. M. in Baltimore County and
between the hours of 1 A. M. and 6 A. M. in Baltimore City.
Provided, however, the holder of such a license in Howard
County shall be permitted to sell beer daily between the hours
of 6 A. M. and 1 A. M., except in the Fourth District where
the opening hour for the sale of beer on Sunday shall be 1 P. M.

6 1/4. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other section
of this Article, the following fees shall be paid for the sale of
alcoholic beverages in St. Mary's County:

(a) In St. Mary's County, the annual fee for a Class D
Beer, Wine and Liquor License shall be Two Hundred and
Fifty Dollars ($250.00), and for a special Class D Beer, Wine
and Liquor License entitling the holder to sell on Sunday,
Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00). Said special Class D Li-
cense shall be issued by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of said
County, the privileges of which are to be exercised only by
restaurants and hotels.

(b) In St. Mary's County, notwithstanding any other pro-
vision of this Article, the hours during which the privileges
conferred by a special Class D Beer, Wine and Liquor License
may be exercised shall be from 6 o'clock A. M. to 12 o'clock
Midnight, except on Saturday night when the closing hour
shall be 1 o'clock A. M. and provided that the holder of
other than a special Class D Beer, Wine and Liquor License
shall not be permitted to exercise such privileges from 1
o'clock A. M. Sunday until 6 o'clock A. M. Monday.

60.

(aa) 1. In St. Mary's County, the Governor, by and with
the advice and consent of the Senate, if in session, and if not
in session, then the Governor alone, shall appoint three per-
sons who shall constitute and be styled "The Board of License
