under the new sub-title "Walleyed Pike", and to follow
immediately after Section 77 of said Article, providing for
an open season on wall-eyed pike (commonly known as Sus-
quehanna Salmon).

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Fish and Fisheries", said new section to be known as Section
77A, to be under the new sub-title "Walleyed Pike", to follow
immediately after Section 77 of said Article, and to read as
follows:

WALLEYED PIKE

77A. It shall be unlawful to catch wall-eyed pike (com-
monly known as Susquehanna Salmon) in any manner in the
tidal waters of the State of Maryland, except from March
15 to November 30 in each and every year. It shall also be
unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell, purchase
or offer to purchase or to have in possession, or to deliver to
any private or common carrier for transportation, or for any
private or common carrier to accept for transportation, or
for any person to transport or carry or cause to be trans-
ported or carried by any means whatsoever, any wall-eyed
pike (commonly known as Susquehanna Salmon) caught in
the tidal waters of the State of Maryland, except from March
15 to November 30 in each and every year.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 524)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 48 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Inspections", sub-
title "State Horticultural Department", said new section to
be known as Section 63A and to follow immediately after
Section 63 of said Article, authorizing and empowering the
State Board of Agriculture, through the State Entomologist
or its duly authorized officer or agent, to determine the
necessity of and to employ airplane dissemination of insec-
ticides, fungicides and bactericides to control or eliminate
