1760 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Cn. 713 APPOINTMENT AND PROMOTION
887. (a) The Personnel Division of the Police Department
(b) No person shall lie eligible for appointment as Chief
(1) he is between the ages of thirty (30) and forty-five
(2) he is a graduate of a college or university of recognized
(3) he has had either two (2) years of graduate study and
(4) he has satisfactorily passed such examinations and
(c) The Personnel Officer may be removed by the Police
(d) He shall receive an annual salary of Six Thousand
(e) In performing his duties, the Personnel Officer shall It shall be the duty of the Chief Personnel Officer: (a) to classify positions in the Police Department;
(b) to make investigations of the character and experience
(c) to supervise the departmental training program and a
(d) to investigate complaints against members of the |
