Officials", said Article having been revised by Chapter
934 of the Acts of 1945, relating to the salaries of Super-
visors of Elections, Clerk and Attorney to the Super-
visors of Elections in Wicomico County and the salaries
of the Supervisors of Elections of Somerset County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 3 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, (1939 Edition), title "Elections", sub-title
"Election Officials", as said Article was revised by Chapter
934 of the Acts of 1945, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as fol-
lows:

SECTION 3. Each Superyisor of Elections appointed
under Section 1 (a) of Section 1 (c) of this Article shall
receive an annual salary as follows: In Alleghany County,
$480; in Anne Arundel County, $300; in Baltimore City,
$2,900; in Baltimore County, $1,500; in Calvert County,
$100; in Caroline County, $250; in Carroll County, $400;
in Cecil County, $150; in Charles County, $125; in Dor-
chester County, $200; in Frederick County, $480; in Gar-
rett County, $125; in Harford County, $300; in Howard
County, $300; in Kent County, $300; in Montgomery
County, $900; in Prince George's County, $400; in Queen
Anne's County, $250; in St. Mary's County, $200; in
Somerset County, $300; in Talbot County, $300; in Wash-
ington County, $400; in Wicomico County, $400; in
Worcester County, $300. Such salaries and any other
expenses incurred by said Supervisors under this Article,
shall be paid by the County Commissioners of their
respective Counties or by the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Baltimore City, as the case may be, in such install-
ments as the said County Commissioners or Mayor and
City Council may prescribe, and they shall receive no
other fees or compensation, except as hereinafter pro-
vided. Each substitute Supervisor appointed under Sec-
tion 1 (b) of this Article shall receive a per diem com-
pensation of not less than ten dollars ($10) per day for
each day actually served by him, to be fixed by the County
Commissioners of the respective counties or the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore City, as the case may be.
In Wicomico County the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors
of Elections provided for in this Article shall receive an
annual salary of $400. and the said Supervisors of Elections
shall have power to employ an attorney, who shall be a
member of the Bar of Wicomico County and who shall
also be the attorney for the Judges of Elections, and such
attorney shall receive an annual salary of $400; the
