title "Garrett County", to be under a new sub-title "Deep
Creek Lake Sanitary Commission", said new sections
to be known, as Sections 129A—129M, inclusive, and to
follow immediately after Section 129 of said Article,
relating to the creation of a Sanitary District in Garrett
County in the Deep Creek Lake area, creating a Sani-
tary Commission to be composed of the members of the
County Commissioners of Garrett County and prescrib-
ing its duties and powers, to provide for the sanitary
disposal of sewage and drainage, and giving said Com-
mission authority to impose a tax.

SECTIONl. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That thirteen new sections be and they are hereby added
to the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Garrett County", to be under a new sub-
title "Deep Creek Lake Sanitary Commission", said new
sections to be known as Sections 129A—129M, inclusive,
and to follow immediately after Section 129 of said Article,
and to read as follows:

Deep Creek Lake Sanitary Commission

129A. For the purposes of this sub-title, there is
hereby incorporated, created and established the "Deep
Creek Lake Sanitary District", the area of which shall
embrace all of the waters and all of the underlying lands
of Deep Creek Lake, lying in Election Districts 1, 6,
7, 10 and 14 in Garrett County, together with all lands
within an area of 1,000 feet from the high water mark
of said Lake in said election districts of said county, except
land and buildings used exclusively for farm purposes.

129B. The Deep Creek Lake Sanitary District shall,
for the purposes of this sub-title, be under the jurisdiction
of a commission to be composed of the County Commis-
sioners of Garrett County, who shall meet from time to
time as necessity requires as the "Deep Creek Lake Sani-
tary Commission", and shall exercise all the powers and
duties granted or conferred herein. The Deep Creek Lake
Sanitary Commission is hereinafter referred to as the
"Commission."

129C. The said Commission is authorized and empow-
ered to appoint, employ, and discharge, at its pleasure,
and fix the duties and compensation of an Engineer, an
Inspector and such other employees as it deems necessary
to carry out the provisions of this sub-title. The Commis-
