rant or writ for the arrest of the person or persons so of-
fending; and the said Constable shall arrest the offender
or offenders and take him or them before the Judge of
the People's Court of Wicomico County, who, if he shall
find said offender or offenders guilty, shall fine or sent-
ence him, her or them in accordance with the provisions
of the ordinance or law, under which said offender or of-
fenders shall have been tried, and said person or persons
so found guilty shall stand committed to the Wicomico
County Jail until such fine and costs are paid. All fines
imposed or collected under the provisions of this Act, shall
be paid over not later than the 10th day of each and every
month by the Judge of the People's Court for Wicomico
County, to the said Fruitland Commission for the use of
the said Town,

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted:

(A) That the Fruitland Commission shall hold regular
monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month,
at such hour, and at such place within said Town as said
Commission may, by resolution entered in the minute books
of said Commission, determine.

(B) The said Commission shall have power to call a
special meeting or meetings whenever, in the opinion of a
majority of said Commissioners, such meeting is neces-
sary for the welfare or best interest of said Town.

SECTION 9. And be it further enacted:

(A) That Wolford M. Garey, Edgar W. Hastings and
Wilton Abbott, are hereby appointed Judges of a special
election to be held on the fourth Monday of June, 1947,
at which election three Commissioners shall be elected to
serve as the Fruitland Commission until the third Tuesday
of October, 1948, and until their successors are duly elected
and qualified as provided in Section Ten of this Act. The
said Judges shall give notice that the election will be held
and the place and time thereof by hand bills posted in
not less than five public places in said Town, at least ten
days before the date thereof. At said election all persons
qualified, as prescribed in Section Ten of this Act, shall
be entitled to vote for three persons for Commissioners,
having the necessary qualifications as prescribed in Sec-
tion Ten of this Act. Such Judges of Election shall,
before opening the polls, make oath before some Notary
Public in and for Wicomico County, to permit every quali-
fied voter to vote and none other, and otherwise truly and
