or said Treasurer Commissioner, and provided, further,
that nothing contained in this Act shall in any wise affect
the liability of the surety or sureties on the bonds of said
Treasurer Commisioner.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted:

(A) That the Fruitland Commission shall have power
to pass and enact such by-laws and ordinances, consistent
with the law, as said Commission may deem proper for
carrying into execution the provisions of this charter for
the good government, public health, safety and morals of
said Town; to suppress all disorderly meetings; to pro-
hibit the use of profane language and indecent and dis-
orderly conduct in said Town; to prevent the obstruction
of its sidewalks and streets; to regulate or prevent the
firing of guns, pistols or any kind of fire arms or pyro-
technics in said Town; to establish and enforce a fire
prevention code; to establish and enforce reasonable reg-
ulations for the erection of buildings; to establish building
lines and the grades of all streets and alleys in said Town;
to license businesses and trades of every kind and nature
carried on in said Town; to prevent immoderate driving
through the streets of said Town in any vehicle of any
character whatsoever; to prevent indecent exhibits of
every kind; to preserve order and to secure persons and
property from violence, danger or destruction; to provide
reasonable penalties of fine or imprisonment, or both, for
the violation of any of its ordinances; and to borrow money
on the faith and credit of the Town of Fruitland and to
secure the same by notes of the said Town, provided that
the aggregate amount of all outstanding notes, shall not
exceed the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).

(B) The Fruitland Commission is hereby authorized
and empowered to pay the reasonable value of all necessary
services in connection with the preparation of this charter
and the surveying of corporate limits of the said Town of
Fruitland and all necessary expenses in connection with
the special election held pursuant to Section Nine of this
Act.

(C) When an ordinance is introduced for passage by the
Commission, it shall be read but not passed at the meet-
ing which it is introduced. As soon thereafter as con-
veniently may be, a statement of the substance of said
ordinance shall be published by posting the same at some
public place in the Town of Fruitland, or by inserting
same at least once in some newspaper printed or published
