above-mentioned section; now therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 393 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "State's Attorney", be and it is hereby
repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section (b), under (Class G. Pneumatic Tires.), of
Section 74 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles",
sub-title "Administration — Registration — Titling", as
as said section was amended by Chapter 99 of the Acts
of 1947, said Sub-section (b) relating to the registra-
tion plates for additional semi-trailers operated under
the shuttle or relay system.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (b), under (Class G. Pneumatic Tires.),
of Section 74 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-
title "Administration—Registration—Titling", as said sec-
tion was amended by Chapter 99 of the Acts of 1947, be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
(b). Upon receipt of an application in proper form
for the registration of semi-trailers operated under the
shuttle or relay system, it shall be the duty of the Depart-
ment, after due investigation, to issue additional registra-
tion plates not exceeding one additional for each two
truck-tractors registered by the owner without extra cost
and the fee for any additional trailers other than those
hereinabove specified but not exceeding one for each two
truck-tractors shall be one-half the regular registration fee.
