or seed oysters in any area, the Department of Tidewater
Fisheries or its successors shall confer with and procure
the advice of the committee of oystermen for the county
adjacent or nearest to the tonging area to be planted. A
similar advisory committee of five licensed dredgers shall
be selected to confer and advise in the propagation of
oysters in the dredging areas.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to legalize the 1947 Edition of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Anne Arundel County, being Article 2
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, compiled
and edited by Horace E. Flack, and to make an appro-
priation to provide for the publication thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County, being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, compiled and edited by Horace E. Flack, be
and the same is hereby legalized, and shall be deemed and
taken in all the courts of the State, and by all Justices of
the Peace and Trial Magistrates of the State, and by all
public officials of the State, to be evidence of the Public
Local Laws of Anne Arundel County, in existence at the
time of compilation; provided, that before the said 1947
Edition is published, all Public Local Laws enacted by the
General Assembly of Maryland at its session in 1947, relat-
ing to Anne Arundel County, shall be incorporated therein.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel County be and they are
hereby authorized to make an appropriation to provide
for the publication of said Code.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.
