WHEREAS, a Supplement, to be known as the 1947 Cumu-
lative Supplement to the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), is now in course of preparation and will
include the Public General Acts of 1941, 1943, 1945 and
1947 and of the Extraordinary Sessions of 1944, 1945 and
1946; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1947 Cumulative Supplement to the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), edited by Horace E.
Flack, be and the same is hereby legalized, and, in connec-
tion with the 1939 Edition of said Code, legalized and made
evidence of the law by the Acts of 1939, Chapter 418, shall
be deemed and taken in all the courts of the State, and by
all the Justices of the Peace and Trial Magistrates of the
State, and by all public officials of the State, to be evidence
of the Public General Laws of the State contained in the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland of 1888, and
the Public General Laws enacted subsequent thereto; pro-
vided, that before the said 1947 Cumulative Supplement is
published, the Public General Laws enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland at its Session of 1947 shall be
incorporated therein.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

(Senate Bill 225)
AN ACT to repeal Section 421H of Article 13 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (Higinbotham's Code
1942, Section 424), title "Harford County", sub-title
"Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks"; and to enact in lieu
thereof a new section to be added to Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland to be known as Section
51/2; and if Senate Bill No. 98 of the 1947 Session of
the General Assembly becomes effective, then Section 89
"Harford County" of Article 2B as amended by the
resulting Chapter Xo. — of the Acts of 1947*, is to be
repealed, and a new sub-section 89 of said Chapter No.
— of the Acts of 1947, to be enacted and the word
"Harford" shall be deleted from Section 82 (b) (2) of
