G. Jr. No. 12, folio 560, etc., to John M. Ashley and Mar-
garet G. Ashley, his wife, as tenants by the entireties,
from the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County.

To Deed dated October 9, 1945, and recorded among the
Land Records of Queen Anne's County in Liber A. S. G.
Jr. No. 12, folio 180, etc., to Frank Trevor Hogg and Mary
Crocker Devereux Hogg, his wife, as tenants by the en-
tireties, from The County Commissioners of Queen Anne's
County and others.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 543.
(Senate Bill 305)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
47 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County," sub-
title "Chesapeake Beach," as said section was enacted
by Chapter 745 of the Acts of 1943, to exempt farm lands
from town taxes of said town.

SECTION 1. Be it enactcd by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 47 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County,"
sub-title "Chesapeake Beach," as said section was enacted
by Chapter 745 of the Acts of 1943, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

47. The Mayor and Council shall have the power to
levy and collect taxes in said town, not exceeding in any
one year one and one-half cents on the dollar, on all assess-
able property of the said town, on the same basis of assess-
ment as the said property is now or may hereafter be
assessed for State and County purposes; provided, that all
property in said corporate limits used only for agricultural
purposes which has not been sub-divided into town lots
