and a plat thereof recorded among the land records of
Calvert County shall be exempt from all town taxes; and
the County Commissioners of Calvert County, upon the
application of said Mayor and Council of Chesapeake
Beach, are authorized and directed to furnish a full levy
list of all property assessed on their books within said
corporate limits.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 544.
(Senate Bill 306)
AN ACT to authorize the town of North Beach, Calvert
County, to borrow Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dol-
lars ($250,000.00) upon the faith and credit of said
town for the purpose of providing a sewerage and water
system for said town and to issue bonds therefor and
to levy municipal taxes to pay the principal and interest
of said bonds and authorizing the Mayor and Council
of North Beach to impose water and sewer rents and
make same a lien on the property served.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the town of North Beach in Calvert County a munici-
pal corporation of the State of Maryland, is hereby
authorized to borrow upon the faith and credit of said
town the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($250.000.00) and from time to time to issue and sell
bonds not exceeding said sum of $250.000.00, said bonds
to be signed by the Mayor and countersigned by the Treas-
urer of said town and to be sealed with the seal of the
town. The entire proceeds of such bonds, after payment
of costs of engraving and all other incidental costs and
expenses connected with the issuance of such bonds, shall
be used, either alone or in connection with any Federal
funds which may be made available, to provide a sewerage
and water system for said town, the particular purpose or
purposes to be determined by said Mayor and Council.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Mayor
and Council of North Beach shall have authority to pre-
scribe, by ordinance or resolution, the form and tenor of
