CHAPTER 528.
(Senate Bill 274)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
35 of Article 66 1/2of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1943 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title
"Administration-Registration-Titling", relating to the
distribution of the list of registrations of motor vehicles.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 35 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-
title "Administration-Registration-Titling", be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

35. (Department to Issue Registration Bulletins.) The
Department shall compile and publish in books or bulletins
a list of all registered vehicles and shall thereafter compile
and publish supplements thereto. The list of registered
vehicles shall be arranged serially according to the regis-
tration numbers assigned to registered vehicles and shall
contain in addition the names and addresses of registered
owners and a brief description of each vehicle including
the engine, serial or other identifying number thereof.

Copies of such lists may be furnished free of charge to
public officials of the State, to the police departments of
all the counties and municipalities of the State and to the
offices of the sheriffs and County Commissioners of the
several counties in the discretion of the Department which
may also furnish copies of such lists to all other persons
applying for the same at a price not exceeding fifty
($50.00) dollars per year.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.
