2 A. M. on the day following and on every day except
the day of any general, special or primary election, and
in the City of Annapolis the hours shall be fixed by the
Mayor, Counsellor and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis,
except in Washington County where no alcoholic bever-
ages shall be sold on Sunday. In Prince George's County
the holder of such license shall not be permitted to sell
on Sunday any alcoholic beverage containing more than
fourteen per centum (14%) of alcohol by volume.
("On Sale" Liquor, Wine and Beer Licenses for Hotels
in Cecil County.) Bona fide hotels complying with the
general provisions and regulations of this Article
and on payment of an annual license fee of Three Hundred
and Fifty Dollars ($350.00), shall be entitled to serve
liquors, wines and beers between the hours of 7 A. M.
and 12 o'clock midnight, but no sale of liquors shall ex-
ceed one quart and no sale shall be made at bars or
counters.
("On Sale" Liquor, Wine and Beer Licenses for Hotels
in Talbot County.) Bona fide hotels having 50 or more
bedrooms regularly serving meals and complying with the
provisions of this Article upon the payment of an annual
license fee of $1,000.00 shall be entitled to serve liquors,
wines and beers between the hours of 7 A. M. and 1 A. M.
on the day following, except on Sunday when no sales shall
be allowed. No sale of liquor as provided herein shall exceed
one quart and no sales shall be made at bars or counters.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 406 1/2 of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel
County", sub-title "Police Department", as said Section
was amended by Chapter 639 of the Acts of 1943,
increasing the number of the Police Force of Anne Arun-
del County and increasing the number and the com-
pensation of the members of the Police Department.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 406 1/2 of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
