CHAPTER 516.
(Senate Bill 224)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
6B of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1943 Supplement), as said Section was amended by
Chapter 482 of the Acts of 1945, title "Alcoholic Bev-
erages", sub-title "Beer, Wine and Liquor License",
relating to Class B "On Sale" Beer, Wine and Liquor
License and providing for such licenses in Talbot
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6B of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1943 Supplement), as said Section was amend-
ed by Chapter 482 of the Acts of 1945, title "Alcoholic
Beverages", sub-title "Beer, Wine and Liquor License", be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

B. (Beer, Wine and Liquor License, Class B (On Sale)
—Hotels and Restaurants.) Such a license shall be issued
by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the County in which
the place of business is located, or by the Clerk of the
Court of Common Pleas for Baltimore City, if the place of
business is located in said City, and shall authorize the
holder thereof to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic bev-
erages at retail at any hotel or restaurant at the place
therein described, for consumption on the premises or
elsewhere. The annual fee for such a license shall be
Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($750.00) except in
Washington County where said fee shall be Five Hundred
Dollars ($500.00), except in the towns of North Beach
and Chesapeake Beach where such annual fee for such
license shall be Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00), and
shall be payable to said Clerk, before any such license is
issued, for distribution as hereinafter provided.
Such a license shall be issued in Baltimore City, Balti-
more, Prince George's and Washington Counties, the towns
of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach, and in the City
of Annapolis such a license may be issued upon the ap-
proval of and for such a fee as may be fixed by the Mayor,
Counsellor and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis.
The hours during which the privileges conferred by
such a license may be exercised shall be from 6 A. M. to
