or animals of any kind to dispose of said carcasses by plac-
ing them on or near any public highway, thoroughfare or any
public lands of Worcester County; and it shall be the duty
of such persons to dispose of said carcasses by burying or
burning same, or by any other' method consistent with proper
health and sanitation procedure. Any person violating the
provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor
and, upon conviction, shall be fined $25.00 for each such viola-
tion, and each day on which such violation continues shall
be a separate offense.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 75.
(House Bill 206)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
393 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County, (Flack's Edition, 1943), as enacted by Chapter 906
of the Acts of 1945, to provide for an increase in salary of
the Motor Vehicle Transfer Clerk, and to define his duties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 393 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, Maryland, (Flack's Edition, 1943),
as enacted by Chapter 906 of the Acts of 1945, be, and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

393. The County Commissioners of Prince George's County
shall in the month of June. 1937, and every two years there-
after appoint a Motor Vehicle Transfer Clerk for Prince
George's County, who shall, subject to the control, direction
and decision of the said County Commissioners, correct and
keep the assessment records of Prince George's County re-
lating to motor vehicles liable to assessment in said county,
so that the same will correctly show the actual owner or own-
ers of each motor vehicle owned by a resident of Prince
George's County or taxable in said county. To this end the
said Motor Vehicle Transfer Clerk shall compile and keep
such records and memoranda in connection therewith as the
County Commissioners may from time to time direct and
