Code of Public General Laws, Article 41, title "Fish and
Fisheries." and to provide for the construction and mainten-
ance of fish-ways or fish-ladders over dams across the rivers
and streams of the State, where fish ascend to spawn,

On motion by Mr. Gorman,

The further consideration thereof was indefinitely post-
poned.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

House bill entitled an Act to amend certain Sections of Ar-
ticle 1 of the Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County,"
sub-title "City of Cumberland," and to repeal Chapter 100
of the Acts of 1874, by repealing Sections 52 to 56 inclusive,
of said Article,

Being upon its third reading,

Mr. Combs, of Allegany, submitted the following amend-
ments :

Sec. 28, line 2, strike out "five" and insert "one."
