House bill to authorize the Commissioners of Baltimore
County to settle the claim of Augustus F. Dames,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

Freeman, Newcomer,
Garey, Steiner,
Gorman, Stump,

NEGATIVE—None.
Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates,

Mr. McLane, from the Committee on Conference, on the
disagreeing votes of the two Houses on the

House bill making appropriations for the support of the
State Government, for the fiscal year ending September 30th,
1879, submitted the following

REPORT.
To the Honorable,

The Senate and House of Delegates :
GENTLEMEN :

The Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes on
the printed bill, No. 212, entitled an Act making appropria-
tions for the support of the State Government for the fiscal
year ending September 30th, 1879, respectfully report, that
after a full and free conference they recommend that the Sen-
ate recede from its second, ninth and eleventh amendments,
and that the House of Delegates concur in the fourth and
eighth amendments of the Senate.

The Committee further recommend that the thirteenth
amendment of the Senate be so modified as to appropriate
the sum of forty-one thousand six hundred and ninety-six
