House bill to empower the Board of School Commissioners
of Baltimore County to pay B. M. G. Trainer for services
rendered as teacher,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as

follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Joyce,

Combs, of Allegany, Lancaster,
Cooper, McLane,
Ford, Miller,
Franklin, Newcomer,
Freeman, Steiner,
Garey, Stump,
Hill, Welfley—17.
Humphreys,

NEGATIVE—None.
Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the Sheriff's Fees in
Charles County, so far as the same relates to the keeping'of
prisoners and their removal to the penitentiary,

Being upon its third reading,

Mr. Lancaster submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Add the following section :

Sec. —. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the 4th day of November, 1879.

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then read a third time, and passed by yeas
and nay as follows :
