dollars and forty-eight cents, to pay for the repairs of the
State House, which excludes all the items embraced in the
report of the Select Committee appointed by the House of
Delegates, January 9th, to investigate the repairs upon the
State House, under the head of furniture, amounting to thirty-
five thousand nine hundred and two dollars and seventy-
seven cents; and also excluding the further sum of the Ar-
chitect's commissions on the said thirty-five thousand nine
hundred and ten dollars and seventy-seven cents, amounting
to one thousand seven hundred and and ninety-five dollars
and thirteen cents; and that the amount to be appropriated
to complete the Hall, Dome and entrance of the State House
be reduced from twenty-five thousand dollars, to fifteen
thousand dollars.

Amendment number thirteen.
At the end of miscellaneous Section, on page eight, insert
"to pay the balance due for work done and material furnish-
ed for the repairs of the State House, the sum of forty-one
thousand six hundred and ninety-six dollars and forty-eight
cents; provided, that no part of said amount shall be paid
on account of expenditures for furniture, or commissions to
Architect on the cost of said furniture."
"To complete the repairs of the Dome, Hall and entrance
to the State House, to be expended under the directions of
the Board of Public Works, fifteen thousand dollars, or so
much thereof as may be necessary.
