House bill making appropriations for the support of the
State Government for the fiscal year ending September the
30th, 1879.

Mr. McLane submitted the following amendments :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Under head of "miscellaneous," at the end of section, page
8, insert :

First. "To pay the balance due for work done on repairs
of State House and furniture $74,940, or so much thereof as
may be necessary.

Second. "And to complete the hall, dome, entrance and por-
tico of the State House, to be expended under the direction of
the Board of Public Works, $25,000, or so much thereof as
may be necessary."

The question being taken upon the adoption of the first
amendment,

It was adopted by yeas and nays, as follows :
