Weighers of Grain by the Governor by repealing the 6th
Section of said Act and re-enacting the same in an amended
form,

Being upon a third reading,
On motion by Mr. Cooper,

Was referred to the Committee on Inspections, by yeas and
nays, as follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Cooper, Humphreys,
Franklin, Joyce,
Garey, Lee,
Gorman, McLane—10,

NEGATIVE.

Messrs. President, Miller,
Dennis, Steiner,
Freeman, Stump,
Hill, Sulivane—9.
Lancaster,

The Senate then proceeded to the considertion of the
second order of the day, being the

House bill entitled an Act to amend the 2d and 3d sub-
Sections of the Act of 1874, Chapter 483, &c., relating to
Revenue and Taxes,

Being upon its third reading,

Mr. Sulivane submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strikeout in line 16, Section 2, from the word "except,"
to the word "thereon," in line 17, inclusive.

Which was rejected, by yeas and nays, as follows :
AFFIRMATIVE.
