hart, John S. Button & Co., estate of John R. Brown, Balti-
more Gazette Company, Evening Bulletin, A. S. Abell &
Co., T. W. Baker, King & Yeates, J. M. Street, Melvin &
Steele, Ephraim G. Polk, A. J. Merrill, Joseph H. Johnson,
Sulivane & Beckwith and Baughman & Brothers,

With the following proposed amendments :
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Line 19, after the word "Brothers" insert "five dollars,"
and in line 20 strike out the first "and," and in same line,
after the second "dollars" insert "H. P. Parker, $18, G. W.
Cruishank, $26.40. R. G. Fields, $38,50, and W. Scott
Roberts, $40.

Amend title bv inserting the names of H. P. Tasker, G.
W. Cruikshank, R. G. Fields and W. Seott Roberts.

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was thee read the second time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 11 and 12, of
Art. 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Licen-
ces," sub-title "Brokers," and to re-enact Section 11, so as
to read as follows,

With the following proposed amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 2, line 2, amend by striking out "$50" and insert
"$75."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time.

Mr. Cooper, from the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay
and its Tributaries, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to protect diamond back terrapins
in the waters of the State of Maryland.
