Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to add a section to the 53rd
Article of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Landlord
and Tenant," sub-title "Distress for Rent.'

Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section o, of Chapter
329, of the Acts of 1867, entitled an Act to provide for the
selection, drawing and summoning of jurors in the several
counties, and prescribing their qualifications, and to re-en-
act the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 21, of Article
38, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Fees of Offi-
cers," sub-title "Notaries Public," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

Which was read the second time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal the 2nd Section of the
Act of General Assembly, passed at January Session, 1868,
Chapter 403, entitled an Act to provide for indexing the re-
cords in the office of the Register of Wills for Allegany
County, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the second time.
Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal the 89th Section, of
the 16th Article, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Chancery," and relating to non-resident infant defendants,
as amended by the Act of 1868, Chapter 200, and to insert in
said Article in lieu of the section so repealed, the following
section, to process against non-resident infant defendants.

Also, unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 1, and to repeal Section 4, of Article 13,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Bastardy and For-
nication."
