On motion by Mr. McLane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to be entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money for the purpose of furnishing and providing the
Chemical Fire Extinguisher for the different State depart-
ments.
On motion by Mr. Joyce,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Senators to intro-
duce a bill to be entitled an Act to repeal Section 151, of Ar-
ticle 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City,
relating to "Coroners and Inquests," as amended by Chap-
ter 45, of the Acts of Assembly of 1872, and re-enact the
same to read as follows.
On motion by Mr. Cooper,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance, to intro-
duce a bill to be entitled an Act to repeal Section 179, of Ar-
ticle 30, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Crimes and Punishments," and re-enact the same witk
amendments.
On motion by Mr. Cooper,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Senators to
introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to authorize the Trus-
tees of the African Methodist Church on Fells Point to sell,
assign and convey lot No. 590, on Fells Point, and to re-invest
the proceeds.
On motion by Mr. Sulivane,
Leave was granted to Senators Sulivane, Dennis and
Stump to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to prohibit
the shooting of wild fowl from sink boats and floating
blinds within two miles west, south or east of the shores of
Hooper's Island, south of the Lower Ferry, known as
"Lower Hooper's Island Ferry.
On motion by Mr. Gorman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to add additional sec-
tions to be numbered 221, 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, to the
Code of Public General Laws, Article 26, entitled "Corpo-
rations," empowering Railroad, Canal, Coal and Iron Com-
panies to employ a Police Force.
On motion by Mr. Sulivane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to repeal and
