Hepbron,

Mr. Sulivane, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to enable William A. Noble, of
Dorchester County, and S. Frank Poole, of Caroline County,
to enclose certain portions of the present public road dividing
Dorchester and Caroline Counties, and to straighten the
boundary line between.

Which was read the first time.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 2, 3, 7 and 12,
of the Acts of the General Assembly, passed at its Session of
1876, Chapter 173, entitled an Act regulating the working
and proper ventilation of coal mines in Allegany and Gar-
rett Counties, and providing for the appointment of an In-
spector for said mines, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Being upon its third reading,
Mr. Gorman submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 12, after the word "daily," in line 23, insert "and
shall make a daily report to the owner, lessee or agent of
said mines."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the third time, and
passed by yeas and nays as follows:
