Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor, Alder-
men and Common Council of Frederick to borrow a sum of
money, not exceeding in the aggregate $15,000, to meet the

cost of an additional introduction and distribution of water in
the City of Frederick, and to issue bonds tor the same.

Being upon its second reading,
Mr. Steiner submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED

Amend Section 1, line 9, by striking out "at six per
centum" and inserting "not exceeding six per centum per

annum."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time, and
ordered to be engrosed for a third reading.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and de-
livered

House bill entitled an Act to protect trout in Baltimore
County.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Freeman, Humphreys and Bannon.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to lay out and establish a new elec-
tion district in Frederick County, out of portions of Frederick
District No. 2, and Creagerstown District No. 4, to be called
Lewistown District, or Election District No. 20.

Steiner, Gorman and Hepbron.
