to straighten the present boundary line between said coun-
ties.

On motion by Mr. Sulivane,

Leave was granted to the Committee oa Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act for the better-
regulation of proceedings under the writ of 'habere facias.

On motion by Mr. Sulivane,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to add an addi-
tional section to the fifty-third Article of the Code of Public-
General Laws, title "Landlord and Tenant," sub-title "Dis-
tress for Rent," for the better protection of tenants.

On motion by Mr. Sulivane,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act for the relief of
Mary Pearce, Isaac Pearce and Mary Pearce, Jr., of
Queen Anne's County.

On motion by Mr. Sulivane,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill to be entitled an
Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 2, 8, 9,
10, 13, 15, 17, 25, 27 and 35, of Chapter 181, of the Acts-
passed at January Session, 1874, and to repeal and re-enact
with amendments Section 5, of said Act, as re-enacted by
Chapter 380, of the Acts passed at January Session, 1876,
relating to oysters, and to add an additional section thereto.

On motion by Mr. Gorman,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to incorporate the
National Trust and Guarantee Company.

On motion by Mr. Gorman,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to enlarge the powers
of the Maryland Canal Company, chartered by the Act of
1874, Chapter 365.

On motion by Mr. Steiner,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to repeal Sections 84
and 85, and sub-Section 1, of Section 87, of Article 11, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Frederick County,"
