Mr. McLane, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
the Code of Public Local Laws, Article 4, title "City of
Baltimore," sub-title "Bridges and Highways," to follow
after section thereof numbered 137, to be called sub-Sec-
tion A.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. McLane, from a, Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Harford County to locate and establish a public
landing on the east side of Bush River, at or near a point
called the "Sod."

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Wilson, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the County Commis-
sioners of Calvert County to ascertain the financial condition
of said county, and to make provision for the payment of
debts due by said county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Franklin, from a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 9 and 10, of
Chapter 424, of the Acts of 1868, entitled an Act to incorpo-
rate the Town of Berlin, in Worcester County, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.
Mr. Lancaster submitted the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

March 7th, 1878.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message, asking the Senate to re-
cede from their amendments to the House Bill entitled an
Act to regulate the fees of the State's Attorney for Charles
County, and respectfully decline to recede from said amend-
ments.

Secretary.
