land, of the January Session, 1876, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, and to repeal Section 55, of the aforesaid'
Article 17, of the Code of Public Local Laws, and to re-en-
act a substitute therefor, and to add an additional section to
said Article 17, of the Code of Public Local Laws,

With the following proposed amendments
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In title, line 1, in place of the word "section, insert ''sec-
tions," and after the words "thirty-two," insert "and seven-
ty-one."

In Section 1, line 2, in place of the word "section," insert
"sections, and in same line after the word "two, "insert
"seventy one."

In Section 32, line 1, after the word "enacted," strike out
all to the word "shall," in line 6, and insert the follow-
ing:

"That all persons entitled to vote for Delegates to the
General Assembly of Maryland, and who have resided with-
in the corporate."

Sec. 71. And be it enacted, That the Commissioners of
Centreville may adopt the county assessment and valuation of
all real and personal property in said town, and may annual-
ly, between the first day of April and the first day of May,
levy on the property so assessed, such sums of money not to
exceed thirty cents for every hundred dollars in any one
year, as they may deem necessary for the improvements and
expenses of said town.

Section 55, line 4, after the word "sale," insert "in said
town."

Line 5, after the word "therein," strike out all down to
the word "and," in line 8.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time.

announced the order of the day to be

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 13, of
Chapter 483, of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to repeal
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws of the State
of Maryland, entitled "Revenue and Taxes," and to re-enact
the same with amendments, and to re-enact the said section
with amendments.
