Senate bill entitled an Act to empower the Peoples' Pas-
senger Railway Company, to accept subscriptions to its capi-
tal stock in personal property and real estate.

Which, was read the first time.

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 44, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Hospital, Maryland,"
by repealing Sections 1, 4, 8 and 11 of said Article.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal certain sections of
Article 47, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
inheritance, and to re-enact said sections with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Sulivane, from the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay
and its Tributaries, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, Chapter 437, of the Acts of 1874, and Chapter
405, of the Acts of 1876, relating to the catching of oysters
with scoop, scrape or dredge in the waters of Dorchester and
Talbot Counties.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Miller, from the Committee on Federal Relations, re-
ported favorably,

House Joint Resolutiens in relation to erecting a monu-
ment to Baron DeKalb.

On motion by Mr. Joyce,

Leave was granted to withdraw from the files of the Sen-
ate,

Senate bill entitled an Act to Authorize the Mayor and
City Council, of Baltimore, to provide for the inspection of
oil, or fluids made from petroleum, or its products, used for
illuminating purposes, offered for sale in the City of Balti-
more, and for the appointment of inspectors for that purpose.

Mr. Sulivane, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
