Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment of a

sum of money to Henry Aisquith, tfor professional services
rendered the State,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for

a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 57, of the
Code of Public Local Laws for Prince George's County, as

enacted by the Act of 1876, Chapter 105, entitled an Act to
repeal Section 44, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
Prince George's County, under the title of "Collectors" en-
acted by the Act of 1872, Chapter 294, and to re-enact the
same with amendments, and to add additional sections thereto,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Combs, of St. Mary's, Miller,

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Dr. J. W. Dow-
ney, of New Market, Frederick County, a sum of money er-
roneously paid by him into the State Treasury,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of
the 2d, 3d, 5th and 6th Election Districts, of Queen Anne's
County, to determine by ballot whether spirituous or fermen-
ted liquors shall be sold in any of said districts, or a license
granted for the sale of the game,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The President announced.as the unfinished business,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 4, of Article
64, of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title

"Mortgages."
