of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to establish the Mary-
land House of Correction,

Which, was read the first time, and ordered to be printed.
Mr. Bannon, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County, to erect ai
lock up or guard house in the Fifth District of said county.

"Which, was read the second time.

Mr. Combs, of St. Mary's, from a Select Committee, re-
ported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Article 31, of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled "Crows," go far as the same
relates to St. Mary's County.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Freeman, from the Committee on Temperance, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of
certain Elections Districts of Dorchester County, to deter-
mine by ballot whether spirituous or fermented liquors shall
be sold in said districts or a license granted for the sale of the-
same therein.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 53, of Article
16, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Prince
George's County," under the head of "Collectors," enacted
by the Act of 1868, Chapter 330, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, and add additional sections thereto,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
